I hate to tell you this, but you're getting old!

I don't know where the time goes, but the boys are already a MONTH old. (Yes, that means you have gotten a month older as well.) How did that happen? When did it happen? That means only 11 more times before it is their birthday??
I see Joel and Evan growing more each and every day. Last night, Joel slept from 11:30 until almost 5:00 this morning! Of course, Evan made sure we didn't get too comfortable, so he woke us up in the middle of the night. But even he only woke up once, at 2a.m., for a quick feed and change. Really, we can't complain; it could be SO much worse.
Evan is currently eating like a hog. He had nearly 4oz at just before 5a.m. Then, at just before 7:00, he decided he was hungry and had another 3oz. He still seems tiny to me, but I guess that is because I compare him to Joel, who I think is doubling in size on a daily basis. It's odd that when other people see him, they all comment on how tiny he is; I just don't see it!

Assuming I can get everyone to cooperate, Todd promised me that we would do a "big photo shoot" today. The last attempt at one was a disaster, so I'm hoping today goes much better. I'll post pictures if I get a chance. (Do you notice I get around to posting less and less these days? Now that it's just me home with the boys, I find time to sit doesn't really exist.)
And with that, the boys are crying and I must go...

  1. I saw your title and I thought you were talking to me because it's my birthday and I am getting old!!!

I can't believe Joel and Evan are one month old. Time does fly! Keep those picture coming whenever you can.

Karla is going to have her little one any time now!

  2. I just read the blog to Adrian. We love it. We look all the time to see what you have to say. Looking forward to the photos! Grandma Juanita and I enjoyed our visit. Adrian and I have figured out we can ride the train up and we will. We are tickled by your blog and the progress you are making.
